Today, I quickly glanced at the Toronto Star site to see this old man had died. Previously, an article was written about how he had been evicted and kicked out of his social housing.
When I read the first article a while ago, it saddened me at that junction.
Seeing that he had died got to me, as well. Let it be known I am not crying over this matter. I just am puzzled at the inhumanity.
The most vulnerable members of society always, always, always are neglected and treated like a burden.
I guess that is the nature of the business.
No one cares.
Sometimes I wonder, about people.
I try to do my part and to be a Good Samaritan.
I hold my convictions to a high standard.
The bell tolls for thee.
