Republicans

Some love them and a lot of left wing people hate them.

I happen to like a couple of people that were Republicans.

Let's see the Presidents in office during the 20th Century: Calvin Coolidge and Five Star General Dwight Eisenhower.

"[As president, I am] one who feels a responsibility for living up to the traditions and maintaining the principles of the Republican Party. Our Constitution guarantees equal rights to all our citizens, without discrimination on account of race or color. I have taken my oath to support that Constitution..." - President Calvin Coolidge, 1924.

I also happen to be a fan of Five Star General Douglas MacArthur. Just being on the U.S.S. Missouri where he signed the peace treaty with Emperor Hirohito was an amazing feeling.

Let's not forget that also he was right to have been insubordinate to President Truman.

The one thing I like about President Nixon was his two handed V for Victory salute and of course his Enemies List.

The latter inspires me to make my Enemies list of things I detest. This list will come at another date.
