Shrimp here, get your shrimp here!

Not many people know that most of the shrimp in the grocery store is farmed. This is problematic as the environment they're cultivated / farmed in becomes polluted. The shrimp are then pumped full of antibiotics, and eventually these ponds are closed as they're too toxic to use.

So tonight at my local Weston owned grocery store I was taken back when I found actual frozen wild caught shrimp. They were from Argentina. Not like the small eco-friendly harvested in Canada shrimp that I found at Longo's.

I thought to myself, wow, a company finally gets it.

If you know the dirty secret about shrimp, and have a hard time finding frozen non-factory farmed shrimp, you're in luck now! As most of the other shrimp is grown in its own shit.
