As many non-residents of the United States of America know (see Canada and the rest of the world), there is usually a problem with watching content over the web.
One day when I was browsing Rolling Stone dot com, I came across an article on a show I watch. That being How I Met Your Mother, it isn't the greatest show (see Archer), but it is decent television on a Monday night with no more football.
The ironic part is there is going to be an episode based largely on Canada and yet a person from Canada can't even watch it.
